Old Barn in San Luis

Here's some more photos of my road trip.  I passed through San Luis, Colorado.  The sign said it's the oldest town in Colorado -- that's pretty darn old -- maybe older than dirt!


I love the red patina at the top of the doors.
I saw this beauty in the yard next to the barn.  Love.....

I love the pictures of the barn, I don't think I've ever seen a stone/wood combination barn before, loved it. And I agree with you the red paint on the door looks great as does the aqua truck! I think if I owned a truck it would have to be this color! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

I love, love, love old barns! I mentioned them in a post the other day as we had them in the area when I was a kid. Someone once asked if I would like to go back to see where I grew up and I said NO! I would rather remember it as it was and not be sad that it is all built up now with all the cool old barns and ancient trees cut down.
