WOYWW 228 -- Stapming and Coloring

Happy Wednesday!  Today is week 228 of WOYWW (What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday).  This huge blog hop is the brainchild of Julia at Stamping Ground.  Beware, you might get addicted!

I stamped Spooky Owl and started coloring -- that's the part that I really enjoy.   But I'm having an issue.........

I'm going to have to figure out how to color this stamp.  Who wants orange pumpkins and orange leaves?!?  I might add a splash of purple for the leaves; what do you think?  Any ideas?
Here's a photo I took in town on Monday.  Some of the leaves have turned to a beautiful yellow.

As always, I will visit those that end in the same number as me and those of you that leave a comment (please leave your number).  It will be Saturday before I'm able to visit but I will, I promise!

Peace,
Kay

Hi Kay!!
I love those pumpkins. You can color them any color you want. I just love seeing all those pencils in the shot. I am getting ready to go to bed because my husbands away on business and I have had to manage my boys solo. Leaves me feeling pretty wiped. Last night I fell asleep and woke to my e-reader on my face!! Can you say pathetic?
Come see my desk and do check in on my new blog series (I am making progress!).
Good night!

I would throw in some brown and a little bit of orange as well as a little bit of yellow. Most times Fall leaves are all different colors. Glad to see your space!

Definitely Purple! Orange and purple are a match made in heaven. How's about some dark navy blue in the shadows too...yum!

Have fun anyway :-)

I would go with reds, yellows and greeny browns for the leaves and that way they will go nicely with the orange pumpkin. They look good though. love the photo of the tree. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x (#12)

I think browns, yellows and/or a rust red would be good for leaves. It is all good with fall colors. 'Course if you live where I do we just keep our leaves green. Looks like you are having fun time with the pencils!

Purple leaves sound brilliant. I think you can go with any colour you choose, there are no rules are there?
Love your photo, what a stunning blue sky.

Hi Kay
thanks for stopping by my post. It's great to see all the gorgeous colours coming out in the tree now, although I don't think that the leaves will hang on long this year, they seem to be falling already!!
Have a great week

Hi Kay, I'm sorry I'm terribly late with my WOYWW hopping! It sounds like you have gotten a lot of wonderful coloring suggestions above. I think you are an artist, so you will "feel" how you want to color everything and it will be gorgeous!

Thanks for sharing that beautiful fall tree!! Hugs, Darnell #57

I am only a week late Kay but still, I am here.
Yes, do colour the leaves purple (envious of your pencils) and I am sure it will look fantastic.
Thanks for sharing the canopy of leaves - beautiful.
